On December 27, a successful start-up of 900000t / a methanol to olefin filtration and separation unit, the core unit of the 360000t / a alcohol based polygeneration project of Jiangsu silbon Petrochemical Co., Ltd., produced qualified ethylene and propylene products. It also indicates that the first phase of alcohol based polygeneration project of Jiangsu silbang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has entered into the stage of feeding, start-up and production trial operation.
At 15:38 on December 26, 900000 T / a methanol to olefin filtration unit began to feed. At 3:08 on December 27, qualified ethylene products were produced, and at 6:45, qualified propylene products were produced.
The phase I project of 3.6 million T / a Alcohol Based Poly generation project of Jiangsu silbang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. located in Xuwei New Area petrochemical industrial park of Lianyungang is invested and constructed by Shenghong Petrochemical (Lianyungang) Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenghong holding group). The project mainly uses purchased methanol as raw material, builds methanol to olefin filtration device and downstream processing device to produce high-end fine chemical raw materials Materials, organic synthesis intermediates, synthetic fiber monomers, functional polymer materials and other products.
The main filtration devices include: methanol to olefin, H2 / syngas / NH3, ethylene propylene rubber, vinyl acetate, EVA / LDPE, ethylene oxide / glycol (EO / EG), acrylic acid and ester, acrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate (MMA), butyl octanol and other filtration devices. Among them, MTO device adopts UOP technology of Honeywell. The 900000 ton methanol to olefin filtration unit of Jiangsu srbang was delivered in the medium term on October 31, 2016.

The project is also located in the petrochemical industry park of Xuwei New District, Lianyungang City, with the construction scale of 16 million tons / year for oil refining, 2.8 million tons / year for aromatics, 1.1 million tons / year for ethylene, 300000 tons of crude oil wharf and four 50000 tons of liquefied chemical wharf, public works and storage and transportation facilities, railway loading and unloading station, etc. The project has signed an engineering design contract with Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd., and the overall design of the project has been fully started since November 1, 2016.
