On April 14, the 1 million ton / year methanol to olefin combined filtration unit and supporting project of Qinghai Salt Lake metal magnesium integration project were put into operation successfully, and qualified products were produced. The completion and operation of the project not only marks the completion and operation of the million ton methanol to olefin production unit in the highest altitude area of the world, but also lays a foundation for the smooth commissioning of the downstream unit of the whole magnesium metal integration project.
At 10:00 a.m. on April 9, 2017, the 1 million ton methanol to olefin production unit in Qinghai salt lake fed methanol. At 12:00 a.m. on the same day, all the reaction gas was incorporated into the olefin separation. At 6:30 on the 13th, qualified propylene products were produced, and at 4:00 on the 14th, qualified ethylene products were produced. The device adopts the DMTO patent technology jointly developed by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd. and Xinxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and is under the general contract of Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd. Up to now, 12 sets of gas filtration units have been put into operation in domestic coal chemical industry.
Qinghai Salt Lake metal magnesium integration project is the first large-scale chemical project built in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The project adopts the multi nozzle opposed coal water slurry gasification technology of East China University of science and technology. The 1 million ton / year DMTO combined unit is one of the core production units. The construction of the combined unit mainly includes 15 units of 1 million T / a DMTO, olefin separation unit, filter unit, system supporting and public works, which were started on the site on February 28, 2012 and handed over on December 20, 2015.
Qinghai Salt Lake metal magnesium integration project is located in Golmud Chaerhan Salt Lake, Qinghai Province. It is a large industrial cluster built in the Salt Lake area with metal magnesium as the core, sodium utilization as the secondary line, chlorine balance as the premise, coal as the support and natural gas as the auxiliary. Overall planning and construction scale: 400000 T / a metal magnesium, 2.4 million T / a methanol, 2.4 million T / a MTO to olefin, 400000 T / a propylene, 2 million T / a PVC, 2 million T / a soda ash, 2.4 million T / a coke, 2 million T carbide and 100000 t calcium chloride project.
